Here we'll answer some common questions we get.
Q: Can I get my wig with a free part? Can I change my part to side part or middle part?
A: Yes, all of our lace wig are free part. You can be change to free part or side part again, so no worries about that. Most wigs will come with a middle part but if they are 13x4, 5x5, or 360 wigs, you should be able to part them freely. T-part wigs will have more trouble with that.
Q: How many bundles will I need to make a wig?
A: Depending on how full you want your hair to look, usually 3-4 bundles of you smallest length, and then 4-5 of your longer length. If you want even more dense wigs, you should add maybe 1-2 more bundles.
Q: How many bundles come with one purchase?
A: One bundle in your cart means only one piece will be purchased. If you buy our bundles in our packs, they are cheaper than buying them individually.
Q: Can the wigs be straightened or curled?
A: Treat the hair as if it is your own. Use a flat iron/straighter or tongs even when fitted, but as with your own hair. Never use hot tools too often as you could dry the hair and it won't last as long.
Q: Can I dye the hair?
A: Yes. The hair can be colored. As a general rule it is easier to darken the hair than to lighten the hair. We highly recommend having your hairdresser dye the wigs/bundles as you will get the results you want. Coloring them yourself always poses a high risk of not coming out the shade you want. If you can not get to a salon, always use a good quality hair dye and test a small sample first.
Q: Can I have a large size/small size wig cap?
A: All of our cap stock is standard medium. It is 22.5 inches. And it has adjustable straps. Normally it can match the head of most people. If you want a very large / small cap, you can contact us to customize (admin@babydoll.hair), and it needs 2-5 days extra for us to ship it out.
Q: What type of hair care products should I use?
A : Treat this hair just as if it was your own hair.
1. Use good shampoo and hair conditioner to care for the hair. It’s important to keep the hair soft and shiny.
2. You could use gel or spray styling products to keep the hair style.
3. Olive oil will be a good choice to keep the hair healthy.
Q: Why is the hair getting tangled?
A: It could be caused by dry hair. Please make sure to wash and condition your hair at least once a week. Twice a week is better. Comb the hair from time to time, and especially after wearing for more than one day. You could go to your stylist for further suggestions.
Q: How long can it last?
A: Normally it depends on your method/level of care. Treat it like your own hair and take very good care of it, then normally it could last longer than 12 months. Most of our wigs will last 3-5 years before you should see some deterioration.
Q: Can I exchange/cancel my order?
A: Yes, you can, but you need to contact us within 24hours of purchasing via email.
Q: Do I need to pay the tax?
A: Usually you do not need to pay taxes, but if your country's customs is more stringent, you will be charged a certain amount of duties. We usually try to avoid tariffs for you as a low-declared invoice with parcels, however, it is not 100%. You will need to pay the duties if the custom still charges customs duties.
Countries with more stringent customs authorities include:
Germany, Italy, South Africa, almost all South American countries, UK (occasionally), Canada (occasionally).
Q: How can I get in touch with you ASAP?
A: Email is the best recommendation, and you'd better write the most urgent question as the email title, and concise. (admin@babydoll.hair)
Q: Why Is My Card Declined?
A: Sometimes when your card is expired, insufficient balance, or poor credit (maybe have a record of chargeback or others) will lead to card decline when paying. So we suggest customers don't take a dispute with no reason. Your personal credit record will be affected, and your next shopping orders could be declined. When you are declined, you can call your bank for clarification about the problem. Or you can try your another card. If you still have any problems, please send an email to us: admin@babydoll.hair
Q: Is it safe to use my credit card on your website?
A: Yes! We understand that the safety of your personal information is extremely important to you. When you make a purchase from us online, your card information is protected by one of the most widely used and trusted security systems on the Internet. Card transactions are encrypted with a 256-bit SSL certificate, and our website is scanned and tested daily for malware/viruses.
Q: How do I use my coupon code?
A: The purchasing process on our website is: Add to Cart > Checkout > Confirm > Payment. When you Checkout or Confirm, you can apply the coupon code. Some coupons will only let you use one at a time.
Q: How do I return my order? And how much will I get refunded if I return the parcel? Who pay for the the return charge?
A: You can send an email to us. Title it as “Return + Order Number + Reason” and we will respond ASAP. If you don't want your order, or you placed the wrong order, or want a longer length and you would like to exchange the order, you will pay the return shipping charge. You will be refunded for the price of the order minus our restocking fee.
Q: Why does gray hair exist in my hair bundles?
A: Human non-dyed hair will have a few strands gray hair or split ends inside. It's normal and not a quality problem. We usually collect the hair carefully during production, but we can't guarantee 100% no gray hair or split ends. Please understand and pick up the few strands out by yourself. Q: Does the hair have smell?
A: All hair will be dealt with the disinfection and then usually we will do a nutrition treatment, washing the hair with shampoo and hair conditioner. Usually there will be no smell, or just the smell of shampoo. And we also put some hair oil on the hair before shipment to protect the hair from drying while shipping. When you open the hair package at first, maybe there will be very little smell, but we can promise the smell will totally disappear after washing.
Q: What are the benefits of wearing a wig?
A: Wearing a wig can play a role in appearance modification, changing hairstyles is simple and convenient, saving time. It can avoid the damage to the hair caused by perming, dyeing, and pulling. You can save the cost of doing hairstyles, bleaching and dyeing your hair in the hair salon and reduce expenses. The wig can be changed at will to avoid the damage to the hair quality caused by frequent trips to the barber shop for hairstyles. You can try a variety of different hairstyle designs to match different fashions, so wearing wigs is increasingly popular among people.
Q: How can I track my order?
A: Here is how you track your order: Log into your account to view the status of your order. Track your shipment by using the tracking number provided to you once your item(s) have been shipped. You cannot track your order before it has been shipped. If you don’t know what your tracking number is or if you’re having difficulty tracking your package, feel free to contact our customer service department for assistance.
